Frequently Asked Questions

The decision about what size breast implant to get is a personal one that depends on various factors, including your body type, desired outcome, and medical history.

It is important to consult with a board-certified plastic surgeon who can evaluate your individual situation and provide guidance on the best implant size for you. They will take into account your existing breast tissue, chest wall measurements, and other factors such as your lifestyle and preferences to help you make an informed decision.

During your consultation, your surgeon may use 3D imaging technology to simulate the potential outcome of various implant sizes, allowing you to get a better sense of what you can expect.

On average, breast implant surgery typically takes between one to two hours to complete.

Recovery time can vary depending on the patient and the extent of the surgery. Most patients are able to return to work and resume normal activities within a week or two following the procedure but should avoid strenuous exercise or heavy lifting for several weeks to allow for proper healing. Your surgeon will provide you with specific post-operative instructions to help ensure a successful recovery.

The FDA has approved silicone breast implants for 10–20 years.

Generally, with intermittent check ups and no issues, you can keep breast implants in for even longer. Many people have breast implants for 25+ years with no issues.

While breast implant surgery is a relatively routine operation, there are a few considerations that could increase your risk of complications or unsatisfactory outcomes. To find out if you would be a good candidate for a breast operation, schedule a consultation with our one of our knowledgeable staff members today.
How much breast implants cost does depend on a number of variables such the patient’s specific medical considerations, what type of implants they want, and the surgeon they work with.
